PCB boards add cost for an inferior connection method. Point-to-point wiring creates a mechanical (twisted) connection at each joint, which when secured with a proper solder joint will not fail under normal use. Additionally, the cumulative wire plus wire solder joint is a heavier gauge connection than the thin trace used in the PCB board. Headphones have no physical or performance defects. Everything performs 100%. These were personally used by me and there is no unknown history, no overuse, or damage. I looked closely and can not find any scratches, dings, or cosmetic flaws. They have never been traveled with, and have never left the desk where they were hung neatly with very low hours of usage. This is the most current version. It includes the factory non-balanced cable which has been upgraded from previous versions.  No original retail packaging is provided. Used prices have consistently been $80 to $85. - [Ohmite Audio Gold 10W Resistors, Surplus. 2.2ohm, 3.3ohm, & 8ohm](https://ezspeakersolutions.com/product/ohmiteag-surplus/): If you are looking for any of these resistance values, these discounted offerings are amongst the best values available for a premium resistor. 2.2 ohm, 3.3 ohm, and 8 ohm - Ohmite 10 watt Audio Gold resistors are new older stock (NOS). These premium wirewound resistors are completely non-inductive and use only non-magnetic materials. There are several versions of the Ohmite Audio Gold resistor. Current offerings available from other retailers are generally lower tier without the fully non-inductive wiring and without the 1% variance precision that this version includes.
