Description
JFGA is JB’s entry level polypropylene capacitor. There are many OEM style and entry level capacitors that look very similar to this (similar encasement, often same color) but not all are equal. Many of the similar in appearance capacitors are actually polyester based capacitors, which are very much inferior to those using polypropylene.
Yes, polyesters are better than electrolytics, but polypropylene is better than polyester. Polypropylene capacitors offer superior audio performance in speaker crossovers due to their low distortion, high-frequency accuracy, and improved durability. Polyester capacitors are stable and reliable, but they may not offer the same level of clarity and precision as polypropylene for critical applications like tweeter circuits.
